LionShareable — April 2026 - How Jacksonville Business Owners Are Getting Found (and Chosen) in 2026

How Jacksonville Business Owners Are Getting Found (and Chosen) in 2026

If you run a business in Jacksonville, you've probably noticed something different about how customers find you lately. Fewer people are landing on your website first. More of them are calling straight off your Google Business Profile, scrolling your reviews, or — increasingly — asking an AI assistant for a recommendation before they ever type your name into a search bar.

That shift is exactly what came up in our most recent LionShareable newsletter, and it's also exactly what we spent our first B.I.N.G. (Business Intelligence Networking Group) meeting talking through with the business owners who showed up.

What B.I.N.G is, and why it's here at LionShare

B.I.N.G. is a Jacksonville business networking group that meets right here at LionShare Cowork, in our Mane Conference Room. It's built around a simple idea: no pitches, no fluff — just business owners bringing real problems to the table and working through them together.

Our first session pulled in more than 30 local business owners and covered real-world website optimization, conversion tracking, and the kind of accessibility questions (ADA/WCAG) that more Jacksonville businesses are going to need to answer sooner rather than later.

What's Happening April 9

Our next B.I.N.G. meeting is Tuesday, April 9, 6:30–8:00 PM, back in the Mane Conference Room. On the agenda:

A follow-up on what business owners implemented after the first session

A featured talk on SEO from Louis Trundy of River City Marketing, focused on practically getting found online — not theory

A live look at a popular SEO tool as this month's "Tech Tool"

An open discussion on writing winning business proposals using AI

If you're a Jacksonville business owner trying to figure out where your marketing dollars are actually working, this is a free, low-key way to hear what's working for other local owners right now.

Why This Matters More Than Ever

Here's the bigger pattern underneath all of it: being visible online and being chosen by a customer are no longer the same thing. Ranking well still matters — it gets you in front of people. But once someone lands on your Google Business Profile, your social pages, or asks ChatGPT or Gemini for a recommendation, what wins them over is whether you come across as clear, consistent, and credible across every place they look.

That's true whether you're a law firm, a contractor, or a coworking space. And it's a big part of why we built a community around LionShare in the first place — because no algorithm replaces the trust that comes from sitting across the table from another business owner in the same room.

We go deeper on this shift — including a side-by-side breakdown of two of the most popular SEO platforms small businesses are using to track their visibility — in this month's full LionShareable newsletter.
