Nonprofits have a unique set of needs when it comes to finding a workspace that is both affordable and functional. LionShare Cowork provides a flexible and affordable alternative to traditional office spaces. Nonprofits often have limited budgets and need to make the most of their resources. LionShare allows nonprofits to rent only the space they need, without committing to long-term leases or investing in expensive office equipment and furniture. This flexibility also allows nonprofits to easily scale up or down as their needs change.

LionShare Cowork provides a supportive and collaborative environment that can be invaluable to nonprofits. Coworking spaces bring together a diverse group of professionals from different industries and backgrounds, creating opportunities for networking, collaboration and volunteers. Nonprofits can tap into this community to gain new insights, develop partnerships and access resources they might not otherwise have in a traditional office setting.

This past year LionShare Cowork had the pleasure of supporting one of our residents Sherry Saucerman of Wreaths Across America. We were fortunate to become a business sponsor of this memorial event in Atlantic Beach where over 300 wreath were laid upon the graves of veterans for the Christmas holiday. A few of our members were there to experience the honor. We look forward to being involved for years to come.

Congratulations to Sherry for putting on another well attended, thoughtful and inspiring event. If you are interested in supporting this amazing event and others please reach out to Sherry at any of the links below or ask your LionShare Cowork Concierge for an introduction.

This year we would also like to welcome a new LionShare Cowork resident, The National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is a movement by and for people affected by MS. Their mission is that they will cure MS while empowering people

affected by MS to live their best lives. They host fundraising events throughout the country to raise crucial funds for research that leads to new breakthroughs in MS, to host programs to educate and support our community, to provide important services for people impacted by MS, and to create a network of healthcare professionals that specialize in MS. In Jacksonville, they will have Walk MS events in the spring and a Bike MS event in the fall each year that are great opportunities for volunteering, and getting your company involved as a team or sponsor.

LionShare Cowork is looking to sponsor a team for the Bike MS event! Any members wanting to participate, please reach out to your LionShare Cowork Concierge team!

Cycle from TPC Sawgrass, or Marineland, to Daytona Beach along the beautiful Florida coastline with a community of riders dedicated to changing the world for people with MS one pedal stroke at a time. Choose from one- or two-day routes ranging from 36 to 100 miles and end day one with a beachside celebration on the Daytona Beach Boardwalk. Feel the extraordinary support and excitement throughout your journey as we come together to reach our goal – a world free of MS.

LionShare Cowork, has brought the sense of community back into remote workers lives. Water cooler chats, lunch dates with new friends and a comfortable productive workspace that inspires you to get work done. Although working from home offers many benefits such as zero commuting time, increased flexibility and autonomy, it also has its challenges. One of the major challenges that remote workers face is the difficulty in separating work from their personal lives and enjoying healthy hobbies.

Without a coworking membership, remote workers do not have a physical separation between their workspace and their living space. This means that it can be challenging to mentally switch off from work and shift into leisure time. Additionally, remote workers may have to use the same computer and workspace for both work and personal use, which can further blur the lines between work and leisure time.

Another reason is the increased pressure to be constantly available and responsive. This can lead to an expectation that remote workers are available to respond to work-related communication at all times, including outside of normal working hours. This can make it difficult for remote workers to switch off from work and enjoy a balanced life.

One of our newest clients may have the solution to adding more balance to your work life! Our new friends at JAX Fray are using our space to plan their upcoming Spring and Summer leagues and events.
